The article contains some considerations concerning the development and introduction of innovative pedagogical technologies and techniques into the educational process of the military higher educational institutions. The definition of the concepts «innovation» and «innovation process in education» are given. The expediency of introducing innovations to the military specialists training has been analyzed. Perspective is the use of active, intensive, problem, simulation techniques. It is noted that the potential of existing and future innovative technologies and techniques cannot be realized despite the widespread use of informational (computer and telecommunication) technologies. The emphasis is placed on the need to use distance learning in the context of providing educational services to servicemen who are in remote areas.
The application of innovative technologies in the process of professional training of military personnel will be a powerful means to improve the quality of higher military education through the possibility of creating a technological educational environment in the IMO - that is, predicted, managed, as close as possible to predefined and planned tasks. And this, in turn, is guaranteed by the opportunity to design and model the educational and educational environment necessary for this educational institution with the use of various models, taking into account knowledge of the potential opportunities of a particular innovative technology or methodology. Thus, information technologies allow solving an important problem of the present: a combination of individualization of training at the level of cadets and the globalization of teaching at the teacher level.
