Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

Author Guidelines

The article is submitted in the original language in electronic form to the journal's e-mail.

Technical design of the article text

Margins: top – 2 cm, bottom – 2 cm, left – 2 cm, right – 2 cm. Paragraph indent – 1.0 cm. Font: Times New Roman, font size 11, spacing – 1.0 (article title – Times New Roman, font size 14, spacing – 1.0). The text is typed without hyphens, on the entire width of the page. It is allowed to highlight key concepts in bold, quotes – in italics. It is necessary to use straight quotes (even – “…”) and distinguish between hyphen (-) and dash (–) symbols.

The materials are arranged in the following sequence

1) DOI (provided by the editors) – on the first line on the right;

2) UDC – on the next line on the left;

3) the next line – TITLE OF THE ARTICLE in Ukrainian;

4) the following lines – name and surname, e-mail, ORCID of the authors in Ukrainian;

5) place of work of the authors with references to them;

6) abstract in Ukrainian (1800-2000 characters with spaces);

7) keywords (5-8 words) in Ukrainian;

8) text of the article;

9) list of used literature (formatted according to APA-style). Sources are listed in alphabetical order (separate paragraphs with the protrusion of the first line – 1 cm) without numbering;

10) references, transliterated in Latin letters (APA-style);

11) name and surname, academic title, scientific degree, position, place of work, e-mail of the authors in Ukrainian;

12) TITLE OF THE ARTICLE in English;

13) name and surname, academic title, academic degree, position, place of work, e-mail of the authors in English;

14), author's ORCID;

15) abstract in English (1800-2000 characters with spaces);

16) keywords (5-7 words) in Ukrainian and English.

Requirements for the title of the article

The title of the article must correspond to the content of the article, NOT CONTAIN abbreviations.

Requirements for the annotation and keywords

An abstract is a brief description of a scientific article in terms of its purpose, content, type, form and other features.

The abstract performs the following functions:

- provides an opportunity to form an idea of the content of the scientific article, determine its relevance to the title of the article and the need to refer to the full text of the article;

- used in information, including automated, systems for searching for information.

The abstract should include a description of the main topic, the problems of the scientific article, the purpose of the work and its results. The abstract indicates what is new in the corresponding article compared to others related in subject and purpose.

The abstract should not contain abbreviations.

Keywords: from 5 to 8 words; do not contain abbreviations; are given in the nominative case; separated by commas.

The main text of the article should contain the following components

Problem statement (the relevance of the study is revealed; the problem is stated and previous research and publications are analyzed; the goal and objectives are formulated).

Analysis of scientific research and publications (a review and analysis of modern publications on the topic of the study is carried out).

Purpose of the article.

Presentation of the main material (the main material is presented in such a way that the essence of the theoretical and/or empirical research is understandable; discussions on the issues covered).

Conclusions and prospects for further scientific research.

Requirements for the design of references to literary sources in the text of the article

References to sources are given in parentheses, including the author's surname and year of publication (Kremen, 2012), and if a reference is made to several sources at the same time, then their references to these sources are separated by a semicolon: (Kremen, 2012; Romanets, 2013). If quotes, statistics, etc. are used, the page number of the citation is indicated (Kremen, 2012, p. 24).

The list of references must necessarily contain ALL scientific sources whose authors' names are mentioned in the text of the article. In order to ensure the quality of scientific citations, the DOI of the source must be indicated in the list of references (if available).

Requirements for the design of the list of references

  1. The list of used literature is drawn up in accordance with the APA standard.

It is prohibited to cite in the text and include in the bibliographic lists those sources that are published in Russian in any country, as well as sources in other languages, if they are published on the territory of Russia and Belarus. For correct indexing of publications by scientific-metric systems, after the List of used literature, References must be given.

  1. References are formatted according to the APA standard.
  2. It is mandatory to indicate the LANGUAGE of the source used in square brackets - for example, [in Ukrainian] or [in English].
  3. In the transliterated list of references, after the title of the work, in square brackets, there must be a translation of this title into English.
