Abstract

The article explores the use of virtual worlds to support proffesional online learning. The world has changed, learning has changed and the learner has changed accordingly. Virtual school can be a great place for group and collaborative learning where students can interact easily with other people. The development of immersive learning technologies in the form of virtual reality and advanced computer applications means that realistic creations of simulated environments are now possible. Such simulations have been used to great effect in language training. The report considers e-Learning Environment "EOS", which was created in Brest State University. "EOS" includes educational material, the unit organization of mastering all the themes of the course, the tools and technologies of network communication: local mail system that allows realizing the didactic and organizational implementation of an effective system of student training assignments and monitoring their progress; local educational system of network communications solutions to software problems taught courses. The article deals with the problems of the educational crowdsourcing. The paper presents a description of the theory and research that provide the foundations for this approach. Finally, the implications of this approach are discussed.
